Edge Trim Extraction With a Lundberg edge trim granulator the usual mass of waste edge trim is reduced to a compact pile of confetti, which can be directly bagged or blown to remote storage. Waste volume reductions of up to 95% mean big savings on removal bills. Plant efficiency also increases as operators cease to make frequent interruptions to empty waste containers. Lundberg edge trim granulators can be supplied in any configuration from a self contained portable unit such as the GR-Combi units, to a complete factory system and can handle most materials including paper, card, foil, plastic and even fibreglass.
Lundberg have been supplying edge trim granulators and trim removal systems for many years. Recognising that label printers also had problems with the handling and disposal of the waste matrix they developed the 'State of the Art ' MX 320 and MX 500 Matrix Cutters.
Based on the Lundberg GR 80 or GR 140 Granulators, which can be supplied with an oil lubrication system to deliver a fine mist of oil to the cutting blades to prevent adhesion. Once cut into small pieces the granulate is sucked through specially coated ducting through the coated ventilator fan and into a suitable collecting unit that can be either a big bag, bin or outside container.
